Our marriage as of the moment is different from my marriage when I started blogging. Before, all I could do is bash my husband to pieces because he annoys me a lot. But as of late, things have changed. I am not sure if this is for good but might as well appreciate it while the iron is hot! LOL!
Since my husband started to go back to church for almost two months now, he has been very different. He has changed. He doesn’t drink anymore and he could say no when someone ask him to drink and join them. When he promises, he tries to fulfill it. Unlike before, when he promises, you would always expect it to be broken. Aside from the new changes, he actively participates with church activities. He joins our other Care Groups (Bible Study) that our pastor handles aside from our very own at our house. He is also easy to be talked to comparing on how we communicate before.
As of now, I am so happy of what God is doing in our marriage. Prayers have been answered finally and my desire is that my husband will keep it all coming by God’s grace!
This is the first time that this blog gets to be awarded. So I am so happy!! Thanks to Jona of “a time to weep and a time to laugh” for this Versatile Blogger Award.

This is my first time to join Sweet Saturday hosted by Jona of Heartifying! I decided to join so that I would have an excuse to update our marriage blog and aside from that it would also be nice to sit down and think about our marriage.
This week is about breaking bad habits.
Here is our story… my husband is a certified alcoholic but as of now, he have already controlled it. So, I am not sharing about him being an alcoholic today but about him being a certified gamer. He really loves playing all sorts of games. As of now, he is stuck with online gaming and the latest of which is GodsWar at Facebook. It is like playing DOTA (Defense of the Ancients) but you are playing it within the Facebook platform which is FREE!
Well, GodsWar is indeed free but if you want to upgrade your character, you will spend $$$ to get gold so that you will be able to pay for cool stuff. This game killed us all. Not literally but it killed our finances. When my husband received his separation pay, a bulk of it went to GodsWar.
Anyway, I really don’t want to dwell on the past but right now. He still plays GodsWar but he doesn’t spend money anymore but he spends a lot of his time with it. There are nights that he doesn’t hit the sack but stays up late playing.
What I do? I always remind him. As in always!! If he doesn’t stop, I have no choice but SLEEP! LOL!!!
Eternity and Beyond… this is what my husband always say to me when he says I LOVE YOU. He said that our love would go beyond death to eternity. Sounds cheesy right? Yes, I supposed it is.
I love cheesy lines… I still think it’s sweet and romantic…
My husband and I have been married for 11 years now and honestly we don’t have the perfect marriage and I even wondered why I am starting this blog when I know this! Hehehe… Anyway, I am still hoping against all hope that our marriage would last until the end of our lives. I am a sucker for long lasting marriages and growing old. So I am hoping that I would be able to document our ups and downs, our struggles and victories and our life as couple.
